SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL VOUCHER PROGRAM APPLICATION FOR S.Y. 2022-2023

 

FOR INCOMING GRADE 11 STUDENTS WHO ARE ESC GRANTEES 

OLD STUDENTS: Proceed with enrollment. No requirements needed.

NEW STUDENTS: From Private JHS: Submit ESC Certificate from JHS together with other admission requirements upon enrollment.

From Public DepEd JHS: Automatic Qualified Learner. Submit admission requirements.

OLD AND NEW STUDENTS:

Register at ovap.peac.org.ph when the application has been opened. Submit the requirements. 

Kindly check the PEAC website regularly.

MMSQC does not hold any responsibility in the application process. Parents and students must personally apply for the voucher.

 

WHAT IS PEAC?

The Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) has been contracted by the DepEd to administer the SHS Voucher Program. It is the trustee of the Fund for Assistance to Private Education (FAPE), a fund created to provide assistance to private education in the country.

WHAT IS SHS VP?

SHS VP or Senior High School Voucher Program was developed by the Department of Education to provide financial assistance wherein subsidies in the form of vouchers are provided to qualified learners in participating private or non- DepEd public senior high schools. 

 

HOW TO APPLY? (FOR NON-ESC GRANTEES)

Step 1. Go to https://ovap.peac.org.ph and create an OVAP account by following the instructions. The Voucher Applicant (VA) must use a working email address they have access to. 

 

Step 2. A verification email shall be sent to the VA's email address. Verify email address to activate OVAP account. 

 

Step 3. Log in to OVAP account with the email address and password provided by the voucher applicant during the signup process.

 

Step 4. Accomplish all sections with corresponding information being asked. 

 

Step 5. Download required pertinent documents. The system will automatically generate the documents with pre-filled information based on the details the voucher applicant has provided. 

 

Step 6. Scan and upload the required documents in the OVAP:

• Signed and notarized Affidavit of Family's Financial Income

• Signed parent consent form

• Certificate of Financial Assistance received from the JHS (if applicable)

Step 7. After preview of application, attest then submit the application.

 

Step 8. Check the result of the application through OVAP. 

 

Step 9. Download the Qualified Voucher Applicant (QVA) Certificate. This must be submitted to the SHS you decide to enroll at as proof that you are entitled to the voucher.

 

AMOUNT OF THE SHS VOUCHER

A Grade 11 SHS voucher program beneficiary from a PEAC Certified Private School will be provided with 80% voucher value amounting to Php 18,000 or whatever is directed by PEAC. Deduction of the grant will be on the last paying period of the school year.

 

TERMINATION OF THE SHS VOUCHER

A VPB loses the subsidy if he/she:

- drops out in the middle of the school year

- does not reenroll in the following school year

- fails to be promoted to the next grade level or is retained at the same grade  level. 

- transfers to a different SHS within the school year

- transfers to a DepEd (public) senior high school 

 

TRANSFER AND SHIFTERS

A VPB who wish to retain the voucher subsidy may:

- transfer to another non- DepEd SHS only after completing Grade 11 

- may shift to another track or strand after the first semester of Grade

11 in the same school or in another VP- participating SHS
